Setting up a virtual server on a host, installing docker, and getting an IRC server container up and running is so easy now! The push to get the basic verbs refined for use in larger recipes like Kubernetes, has made small scale self-hosting so much easier. Less than $3 a month to run an IRC server for family and friends. Why would I ever pay for something like Discord?

Their founder and leader actively puts up a screen of plausible deniability by pretending to be a leftist democratic socialist organizer online.

NSC-131 was founded when its leader was kicked out of Patriot Front for being a poser. And due to suspicion of being informants since they wanted to know everything, but participate in none of the real dangerous events and vandalism.

NSC-131 had two members convicted of felonies for hanging nazi banners over the highway near here a few years back. One member was also convicted in Jan 6.

The group has an estimated 38 members right now. Less than half showed up for the Red Roof Race Riot.
